Sorry for the long absence lads. Really caught up at work. Need you suggestions on teams, if any of you're around. I need to fit in Payet this week but will be having huuuuge benching dilemma. Here is the team:
Myhill
Kolarov, Bellerin, Dann/Wollscheid (Dawson)
Mahrez, Ozil, KdB, Alli (Arnie -> whom I want to transfer out for Payet. Got enough money for a direct swap)
Aguero(C), Lukaku, Ighalo
So, if I bring in Payet for Arnie, whom do I bench? Can't bench Mahrez against Villa - Should I just save? - but I really don't wanna be left behind and I do think he will score well against Newcastle. What about bringing Payet in and benching Lukaku against Chelsea?
Also, I want to do DdG to Forster. Southampton defense looking good again.
What do you guys think? Thanks a lot in advance

I have the same benching headache. I am seriously considering bench boost because I want to play all my defenders as well. Assuming I don't do that I will bench either Lukaku or Ozil. You also have Ighalo as a possible bench-warmer.
The upshot is that with your team I would go ahead and get Payet and leave Ozil on the bench (try to ignore my parlous history with Ozil-benching).
On Forster, I say go ahead (assuming you have 2FTs and no future plans for the extra one).

I suggest we should bench one of Raddy, me, or 12thAmigo.
Raddy has a dodgy def and no Kane, I have no Aguero, and 12thA has no Payet and a meh def.
I might do BB this week--depends on how much I drink. So I'm just going to move that we bench Raddy.
Thoughts?

Thoughts? Bench me. I don't mind. I don't agree with your analysis of my defence though. No offence intended!  I only said "meh" not "bad". I just don't see Butland or Ivan doing much. Mine is meh too with DDG. It's hard to find flaws because all the teams are strong. Raddy's def is, I think, weaker than yours and mine, and Kane is a big miss this week, that's why I suggested him. I'll wait to see if others have thoughts. |

So raddy then? No Kane but I like that he still has KdB who can do well and he has Payet. Alli (C) seems too punty though. Final verdict? I wanna send the teamsheet now

I was busy last night and was making quick visits to the forum with no time to explain. All our defences seem to be strong overall with maybe one or two question marks. What at are our tactics when it comes to captain choice? I'm on Aguero but if you guys want to go big on Kane I will consider that. |
