Hi everyone, let's use this for FPL discussions this week..mail was a getting a bit tricky to handle  Let me start things up with Jelly's mail: -------------------- Hi team, I need some advice and I daren't use the FFS Boards as I have a H2H against Giggs Boson in LAWR4 this GW. Here is my team with no FT and no hits yet: Myhill Janmaat, Van Dijk, Kolarov DeBruyne, Sanchez, Mane, Payet, Mahrez Kane(c),Vardy McCarthy, Gomis, Souare, Richards My two big problems are Gomis and Myhill. I will definitely want to upgrade McCarthy next GW (if not this one), but I also desperately want rid of Gomis. The point is I have two transfers that need doing by next week at the latest, and I am leaning towards taking the hit THIS week (GB has taken a hit already, I can see). Also, I hate playing two Leicester attackers against my GK. Sooo: Upgrade McCarthy to, say, DDG for a hit this week (playing both Vardy and Mahrez) or Gomis to Lukaku/Bony for a hit (bench Mahrez/Vardy) or Stick (but badly need a keeper next week AND a better striker than Gomis Help greatly appreciated. Just to try this out, I want to do Gomis to Bony for a hit, and bench possibly Vardy. I know it seems crazy so that's why I'm seeking advice.

Taking a hit and benching Vardy - no go for me. Also, what if Lukaku does well again this week? or Giroud? then maybe you would like to get them instead of a short term punt on Bony |

Would it make a difference if it were Mahrez I was benching? Not for me personally. In cup as well it was Mahrez/Vardy combo which scored..I know it's Pulis against them but they have scored in every match. If you are planning mainly for this week's H2H, sure. But if long term, I will stay put |

Plus, it's easy to get so disgusted with a player that you forget that they CAN score: Gomis plays Norwich next GW, and I had rather overlooked that. So what about McCarthy to DDG/Howard?

Do you really need to bench Myhill? I mean, he is THE HIGHEST points scorer in last 16 GWs. and Pulis teams can keep CS in tough matches as well. For me the rotating keepers have never worked so maybe that's why a bit prejudiced. However, if you have to, I would go Howard - more save points |

All good points, but here's the rub: I am playing two Leicester attackers against my only GK. I feel like I need to bet on one or the other. If they are un-benchable, it's because Myhill will get few points. Can one really stick with Myhill alone through the run he faces? I feel I will need to use a transfer on a GK sometime soon, so maybe this is as good a time as any.

Right, well, as usual, I did what I felt like doing. I got Bony in for Gomis, -4, and I expect to bench Vardy. Tomorrow I will look like either a genius or a fool. |

I really want Bony (and Mane) as well but I am being a dullard - no hits and playing Ighalo (benching Ayew) Team as of now: Myhill (Mccarthy) Van Dijk, Kolarov, Dawson KdB(c),Sanchez,Payet,Mahrez Pelle(vc), Vardy, Ighalo bench: Ayew, O'shea. Williams FT used, no hits taken, lotsa money in the bank Would you suggest any hit for anyone? |

g2g, no hits. I like that you got enough cover to bench Swansea this GW.
However, 4 guys exposed to the Lei - WBA game would make me iffy.
As long as you're fine with starting Iggy over Ayew.
If you updgrade say Myhill to DDG, you'll struggle to fit Pelle to Kun, even if you sack Williams 3 GWs down the line

Benching Ighalo Ward Williams 0FT 4.5ITB
Hoping to save some FTs going forward. Dilemma on Iggy/Mahrez and captain choice, and this is what I got so far

Sjaugen, much the same, although I've already bored everyone with my concerns about playing Dawson against two Leicester attackers. Doesn't look like you have much choice. If Ighalo had a better fixture I might play him over Vardy/Mahrez . . .
